Dangerous

Who knew that chocolate cake and cream cheese could be such a good mix? Not moi, but I found this recipe inside the Western Family cream cheese box, and thought I'd give it a whirl. Two words: Yum-my.

Black Bottom Cupcakes
1 8oz. package cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips (about half a bag)
1 devil's food cake mix

Mix cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt together. Add chocolate chips; set aside. Prepare devil's food cake mix according to package directions. Fill baking cups 1/3 full with cake mix; add heaping spoonful of cream cheese mixture on top. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
You'll be happy you did.

It is so fun to see you guys...we hear about you a lot and now I can put faces with the many many many funny stories Ry has about your fam. I have met the rest of your family, but I think you were on a mission or somewhere. Hey would you tell your sis, Heather, she needs to add us to her private blog? Thanks a ton!

I have had these and they are so good. Are you into cooking that is my biggest down fall. I hate cooking so bad if I had a lot of money that would be the first thing I hired out is a chef. I try to cook sometimes but we eat out a lot. Will you tell heather I would love to be added onto her blog. I am so excited to have contact with you guys again. What about Holly does she blog? Tell your family HI!

These are a happy memory from my childhood. My Aunt Marie would make these and when we would go visit she knew that this was a treat we would enjoy. I finally found the recipe the other day too, funny!
